Out for the count

Last night Ezra fell asleep in the car as we drove home from picking Becks up at work. It was around 6:30 and he was OUT! I carried him in and held him for a little bit and then Becks held him while I finished up dinner. Then I took him back. All through the transitions from car to mom to dad to mom he remained asleep. So we decided that we would just lay him on the floor next to us while we ate dinner. And so of course I had to get pictures! He really does still need two naps. Of which he only got one yesterday.

Fingers crossed

This has been Ezra since Saturday. Not all the time, but many of his waking hours are spent doing things with his fingers crossed. I think he figured out how to cross his fingers and found that he liked the feel of it. So it is a comfort thing. Some kids suck their thumbs...ours crosses his fingers. It is quite cute!

19 month old and Harvest Fest

Ezra turned 19 months yesterday and he got to celebrate in grand style by visiting a pumpkin patch in the afternoon and then attending our church's Harvest Fest in the evening! He was so overwhelmed at the Harvest Fest this year. He just stood there staring off into nowhere most of the time. He did enjoy a couple of games, but for the most part just enjoyed staring at everyone dressed up. He also enjoyed putting himself in jail. He and his little buddies would just walk right through the rails of the jail and just stand in there. Well Ezra was known to bust a few moves in there as well. He is becoming quite the dancer! It was fun to see all the kiddos and adults dressed up! Ezra was a basketball player this year. For the Harvest Fest we put a little sign on his back that said 'Future Player for Sports Ambassadors'. A missions organization that one of our elders played for. I was afraid his outfit was a little too plain, but it ended up being a hit!
