Onto 17 months...

Perhaps I should include a picture of Ezra from 16 months as well since I failed to blog about his 16 month birthday! Yikes! Things were a little hectic for his 16 month birthday as we were getting ready for our trip out to Ohio and St. Louis. Anyways...I will post a picture from both months. Today marks 17 months and Ezra is celebrating with his second concert...Phil Wickham is playing at our church tonight.

Ezra is trying to talk more. He tries to carry on conversations with us and it is pretty fun! Although we have no real idea of what he is saying we have fun with it. Making up what we think he is saying. :o) He is really getting a handle on this whole walking thing. It started a little before his 16 month birthday and now is getting perfected. Of course that means he wants to be running around all the time. Mainly outside! :o) He loves being out in the yard or mastering the steps on the back porch. And is quick to say that he is not allowed to climb the front steps. He walks over to them points to them and says, 'no'. What a smart boy!

Here are several pictures from this past weekend. Some photos of Becks' van (van #2) at our house and the finish at Seaside.

It is now official!

Becks and I are now officially registered for the Portland Marathon! Becks to run it for his third time and me to walk it for my first time. This will be Becks' fourth marathon overall and of course my first! Should be exciting times! I get to walk with my good friend, so it should be really fun! We are more than half way done with our training. Tomorrow it is 15 mi for me. Becks is 'taking the weekend off' as he is running in the Hood To Coast Relay! His van is up by 15 min from their estimated time. And they are having a great time. Becks is the only one in his van that has run this relay before. They are done with their first legs at around 12:15am! Then it is off to shower and find some place to hopefully catch a few ZZZ's before they start running again at 5am! Tomorrow afternoon, Ezra and I will head out to the coast to meet up with them. I will have pictures of course to share later. Until then...
