C is for compact.

I am found annoyed by different things at different times. Monday was no exception. While getting out of my car at a local shopping mall to go grocery shopping I heard it. The sound of a car getting rear ended. I looked up and saw a Jeep Cherokee that was trying to squeeze into a compact car spot. (At this outdoor mall I see it all the time. Huge SUV's, most of them bigger than a Cherokee, parked in the compact car spots. I guess it annoys me most since I drive a car that is compact and was actually made to fit within the lines.) Anyways, the driver backed out and parked over by my car in a normal spot. As she drove towards me I memorized her license plate number. She then got out, examined her front bumper and then went about her shopping. I went grocery shopping and then found a piece of paper and wrote the number down and a brief description of what took place and the make/model/color of the vehicle. After I returned my groceries to my car I decided to walk by the car that had been hit. The woman who hit it never looked to see what kind of damage she did. The back side of the car had a big scratch on it and was dented in pretty severely. After I walked around for a little bit I came back and noticed that the Jeep had left, but that she didn't leave any of her info for the driver of the car she had hit. So I took the slip of paper I had written on and slid it under the wiper. Hopefully it was of some use to them. I just know that if that had happened to my car I would have wanted some information! It was a lot of damage...just because someone was too lazy to look for a normal spot. And there were tons of them available that day! So that makes them extra lazy! What would you have done?!

ONE YEAR OLD!!!

Ezra turned one year old yesterday! We sang "Happy Birthday" to him at 12:58pm to celebrate his birthday! Then after lunch he opened the gifts and cards that had arrived from family and in the afternoon we had a big birthday celebration with his friend, Noah, who is three days older. A good time was had by all! Here are a couple pictures for you. We will post more when we get the time in the picture page. Yay! We survived the first year of parenting! :o)
