11 months old!!

Ezra turned 11 months old today. Lucky boy gets to celebrate a little early since February ends on the 28th! Here are several pictures of the boy!

Learning

Ezra is finally getting interested in pushing up and getting onto his hands and knees and rocking. But that is as far as it goes so far. Hopefully soon it will all start to click and he will be crawling. Maybe by his first birthday! Here's to hoping!

First concert

Starfield came and gave a free concert at our church this past Friday night. We took Ezra for his first concert and he had a blast! He was clapping right along with the music! For our NE Ohio readers, you should check out Starfield at the Alive Festival this summer if you get the chance! They are an amazing group with a heart for true worship.














Don't you just love Ezra's bright orange earplugs?! Tee hee! We didn't want him losing his hearing before his first birthday! :o)

Let me check the calendar...

Yep, it is February 12th! And our neighbor is out mowing his lawn!!! Unbelievable!! It just doesn't seem right. In fact, it isn't right. It is FEBRUARY! It is still winter! Strange to hear a lawn mower so early in the year. Granted, we do have flowers in bloom, but come on!!

Ezra went to a friend's birthday party. The little girl turned 2! Ezra was really into being cuddly with the birthday girl during picture time and she wasn't shy about showing him some affection either! Too funny! We laugh that she will really have her pick of boys when she gets older...there are way more little boys than little girls at our church.

Three years!

Wow! It is hard to believe in a lot of ways that we have lived in Oregon for three years now! We drove into Oregon on Sunday, February 1st, 2004. (Super Bowl Sunday!) And here we are celebrating three years! Amazing to think of how God led us out here and what amazing things He has done in our lives since we have been here! We are so blessed and sometimes can't believe we made the move we did, but are blessed by what God has done. We have now lived half of our married life in Oregon! And we became parents here! It is fun to think that Ezra is a native Oregonian! We are so thankful for all of our family and friends (both here and across the country) that have been so supportive of us! We love you guys!

Ten Months Old

It is hard to believe that Ezra is rapidly approaching his first birthday! Ezra decided on the 15th of this month to start cutting his teeth and he got three teeth in one week. Then took a few days off and just got his fourth tooth a couple days ago. And there are more on their way! I guess it is kind of nice that he is getting all of his teeth at once...that means that the waking in the middle of the night comes all at once! And hopefully when he has all these teeth he will sleep through the night once again until it is time for his molars to come in. Ezra is still not into learning how to crawl although he is now more comfortable with spending some time on his stomach, so that is a huge improvement from earlier in the month. As always here is a picture of Ezra. He wasn't really into having his picture taken yesterday, so these are the best we could get for his ten month birthday. Enjoy!
