Ezra is finding new ways to express himself. He just started last week trying to buzz his lips together! He has us laughing all the time with this new trick! Especially when he gets his brows all furrowed like he is really concentrating! It is a tough job this blowing raspberries thing!

Becks turns 33 today!! Since we have church tonight we celebrated with friends last night. We had a chili dinner with corn bread and then finished the night with a German chocolate cake! It was a lot of fun to have a good portion of our friends over. Wish we could have invited more, but our house just won't allow for that many people at once. This was the first time that I had a celebration for Becks as his birthday falls so close to Christmas. Everyone is usually really busy this time of year, but I am thankful that we had such a good turn out! Happy birthday Becks! Looking forward to many more years of celebrating with you!

Here is a picture of Ezra with his buddies. In order of age, Preston, Josiah, Noah, Ez, and little Evan. The older boys were enjoying Ezra's flash cards. What a yummy treat?!?

I have taken some great pictures of Ezra over the past month, but it is hard to find the time during the holiday season to post them. So I am going to try and put up some of the best on the photo page! Hopefully that will be soon! Ezra is getting so big and changing so much! We are enjoying every moment!

Well this is it. Our Christmas tree for 2006! It took us all of 15 minutes to find it and we were taking it slow. It is a Douglas fir and is approx. 7 1/2 ft tall. We are currently working on decorating. We had a beautiful day for searching!

Yesterday, Ezra turned eight months old! He is really starting to look older! Ezra is now an experienced flyer! He took his first trip to Ohio and did a fabulous job! He really enjoyed looking out the window at the clouds and sleeping on mom's shoulder. We received many compliments on how great of a baby he was on the flights. Ez even did well on our unplanned LONG layover in Houston and 'red eye' flight back into Portland! What a trooper! He is just now perfecting his 'talking' skills and is saying 'Baa baa and Rah rah' :o) He continues to be a pretty mellow guy and a BIG cuddle bug! Which is so fun! Still no crawling or thoughts of crawling...and no teeth as of now. With time...
