A short visit

We had a short overnight visit with Becks' Grandma and her husband, Art. It was nice to have them spend the night with us as we don't get to see them much as they live in California. Granted we saw them in July, but before that we hadn't seen them in a long time. Ezra enjoyed spending the short time with his GG's and especially loved grabbing hold of GG Marge's earrings! Now it is back to just Koi, Ezra and me hanging out. We are meeting up with Becks downtown today to pick up our packets for the marathon on Sunday. Becks is of course running the marahton and then Ezra and I are walking in the Mayor's Walk for the last 6.2 miles of the course with my friend, Kari. It is hard to believe that it is this weekend!! We will definitely post any pictures we take on Sunday.

Things learned

It is fun to try and escape from the Bumbo seat!

A good book is hard to put down!

Rice cereal time

Well it is that time. Six months have almost come to a close and Ezra has begun eating rice cereal as of Sunday. He is really enjoying the cereal! Here are a few pictures from his first try of the bland stuff.

Here is a picture of our sweet little sleeper. My parents were in town last week and we took lots of small trips with them. Well at least Ezra and I did, but this is a photo from our trip on Saturday up to the St Helen's area. It was a cloudy day, so we didn't go all the way to the mountain as the view wouldn't be worth the drive. But we did go to the visitors center. This picture was taken on our way home. It was only our second time of being together in the back seat with Ezra as we are usually the ones driving. So I thought I would take the opportunity to get a good family photo in :o)

Koi knows best?!

In her mind, yes! For the past several nights Koira has been getting up in the middle of the night (we are talking 1:30-2am)and coming over to my side of the bed and just standing there. Last night I finally figured out why she is doing this. It is because she thinks that I need to get up and do something for Ez like feed him. Even though he is sleeping longer than that now. So last night after we tried to get her to go lay back down, Becks actually got up and went into Ezra's room and checked on him. And of course Ezra was completely asleep! But as soon as Becks had opened the door to Ez's room and you could hear his sound machine get louder, Koi went over and laid back down on her rug. As if to say, that is better! She just wanted one of us to go in and check on him I guess. It is really annoying however to hear her claws click, clicking on the wood floor and then just having her stand there. And then clicking some more and standing. Very annoying! Especially at that time of the night. I am looking forward to Tuesday when my parents arrive in town and we can send her upstairs to sleep with them. And finally we will get some decent sleep :o)

Kisses from Koi

One of the only people I know who really enjoy getting kisses from Koi. Here is Koi 'cleaning' Ez up....complete with little nibbles to make sure he is completely clean. Ez doesn't seem to mind one bit. Infact it makes him smile and laugh. A boy and his dog! :o)

Another month older!

Ezzie is growing up so fast :o) Enjoying sucking on his feet, grunting, talking, and finding any sort of object to stick in his mouth and chew! He is getting longer and is up to around 14.5 pounds! He is really enjoying his dog, Koira, as well! She keeps him smiling and giggling with her nose to nose interaction with him. I will post a picture of the two of them together as well. Hope all is well for you. Until next time...
