Ezra got to take his first trip to the zoo last Tuesday. Unfortunately my camera's batteries were dead, so I didn't get to document the occasion in the way I would have liked. But I did manage to get this picture with my friend's camera. Here is Ezra and buddy Preston and the big ol' polar bear in the background :o)

Here we are the proud the few...the cheering section for Solid Rock Fellowship softball team. Ok...there are more of us they just aren't pictured :o) Ezra is sporting his Indians outfit from his Grandpa Scott! Too cute! We are pictured with my friend, Erin, and her son Preston and my friend, Kari's, son Josiah. (Kari is the photographer) It sure is fun to watch these boys grow up together!

Ouch!

Ezra just had his four month appointment today at the doctors. I can't believe that he is going to be four months old on Monday! Wow! Anyways he is continuing to grow at a steady pace. He is now 25 1/4 inches and 12 lb 12oz!! He didn't enjoy his four shots he got today of course...he is showing off two of his four bandaids in this photo :o) And his arms and legs were flying all about so they are a bit blurred. He is doing great and is enjoying sleeping unswaddled now! Finally done with the swaddling :o) And he has been rolling over from back to belly and belly to back :o) Watch out!

Family reunion update

We spent last Thursday - Sunday in Lake Chelan, WA at Becks' family reunion. We had a great time with the family and friends that were able to attend. And the weather couldn't have been better. Ezra did very well in the car. Sure there was screaming and crying, but we expected that there would be as this was the furthest he had gone in the car. And those carseats aren't exactly the most comfortable :o) We took Ezra for his first swim at our hotel's pool. He seemed to enjoy his time in the water even though we kept it brief.

We enjoyed our time of relaxing and got in a game of miniture golf and a little hike. And just spent time hanging out with family and by ourselves as a family.
Here is a picture of the four generations. GG (Great-Grandma) Marge, Oma (Becks' mom), Becks and of course little Ezra. Grandpa Scott (Becks' Dad) and I got to be in the family picture as well :o) On Sunday before heading back home we did a very brief wine tour of a couple vineyards in the area. What a great and memorable first car trip with Ezra!

Happy 3 month old!

Sunny spot

Well Ezra turned three months yesterday. Here is one of the pics I took of him out in our front yard. As you can tell the grass was in need of a trim, but it made for a nice soft place to take a photo. He is around 11 pounds now and we have yet to measure his length :o) He doesn't go to the doctor until he is four months, so we have to do these measurements at home which isn't very accurate. But he is growing... we do know that much. And he is becoming more fun every day!

Ezra will be taking his first road trip in another week and a half up to Lake Chelan, WA for Becks' family reunion. We are looking forward to meeting up with Becks' parents and friends in Seattle and then continuing on to the reunion. It should be a lot of fun to see most of the family again.

Well that's all for now...
