2 Months Old!!

Well today is Ezra's 2 month birthday! Wow! 2 months! He got to celebrate by going to his doctors appointment. He didn't really care for the five shots he received, but then again I don't know many people who do enjoy getting poked by needles. This is a picture of him taking a little snooze in his crib before we left for his appointment. He is now up to 10 pounds! And he has grown 3 inches since his last appointment at 2 weeks. He is growing at a steady pace and is doing great! Well...he is awake from his nap now, so I better get going. Until next time...

A visit from Aunt Sara and Uncle Robert

My sister Sara and her husband Robert came into town on the 20th and stayed for a few days! This was their first time to Oregon! We had a great time introducing them to Ezra and showing them some of the sights. Ezra got to experience a lot of firsts during their time with us. He went to the airport for the first time as well as the coast, waterfalls, and the rose garden. Very exciting! He enjoyed showing off his beautiful smile and chatting with them with his 'ahh' sounds. We were surprised to see how much he resembled my sister. Especially when she was a baby. He has the same strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. During their stay my sister got to celebrate her 30th birthday! We are so glad we were able to help her celebrate such an important birthday :o) Here are a few pictures of Ezra hanging out with his aunt and uncle and also one of the three of us at the coast. I only have ones of me on the beach with him in the sling so this picture was taken in the parking lot after I got him out of the sling before getting in the car. I thought we needed a picture to remember his first trip.

Ezra and Noah trying to stare each other down. Although I am not too sure either are really focused on the other. Noah is Ezra's friend who was born three days before Ez at the same hospital! I am sure they will grow up to be good buddies!

Another First

Mother's Day 2006

This time it was a first for me! It was my first Mother's Day :o) We had a good day of relaxing! It was a great day!

We are really enjoying our little Ezra! He turned six weeks on Friday and on Friday he started to smile at us when we talked to him. What an awesome experience to have him recognize us.

He is getting bigger, but still seems to be the smallest baby at church. Even though there are about three others that are younger than him. Of course the others were born at 9lbs something and that is probably what he weighs now :o) It takes a little while for a 6 pounder to catch up! But he is doing great!
