where have you been?

OK, again it's been too long since this blog has been updated. I guess I can't always wait until there is something worth reporting on. I should be making news - it's not like we just sit around waiting for anything to happen.

We have actually been quite busy around here. We made the 3 hour drive on Saturday to Seattle for our frequent pilgrimage to IKEA. If you haven't heard of this store - what hole have you been hiding in? It is simply the premier place to buy trendy, modern, yet affordable everything. They sell everything from furniture to kitchen essentials to garden stuff to tchotchkes to you name it. We like it for its European practicality (& that it's cheap).

While in Seattle we also got to visit with my cousin Jaime who was on her way through after getting hitched. She got married to David in New York state & they were flying through Seattle before heading out on an Alaskan cruise for like 9 days. We would like to extend our congratulations to those two lovebirds.
