Almost there...
We had an appointment with a different doctor on Tuesday as my doctor is on vacation for spring break. This doctor was not wanting to see me go past 41 weeks, so he set up for me to come in today for an ultrasound to check the fluid levels and Ezra's activity and I also had a non-stress test done to watch Ezra's heart rate during his active stages. Of course when they hooked me up to the monitor he decided that it was time to sleep. So they gave me some apple juice to give him a bit of a sugar rush, but before that had time to take effect they decided to buzz him with a buzzer. Basically it startled him into a wakeful state :o) Poor guy was just trying to catch some shut-eye. All looked good in the ultrasound and the non-stress test, so we go in tomorrow night at midnight so that they can start the induction process. Ezra should be here by Friday or Saturday if he doesn't decide to come before then on his own.
Friends from church, Brent and Amy, just welcomed their son, Noah John, into the world yesterday! He was 9 pounds 4 oz! Just adorable! We got to visit him in between our Dr visits today and we got to hold him :o) Since Amy ended up having a C-section she will still be at the hospital recovering while we are there! So there will be two new families for our friends to visit at the same hospital! A nice little party of sorts. :o)
Well that is it for now. Next time I post will probably be after we return from the hospital. Unless I can get Becks to blog before then.
