Here is one of our first glimpses at our son as he is developing and growing inside! We had our ultrasound on Monday, October 31st! I didn't sleep well the night before dreaming that I had missed the appointment twice and that I didn't drink the water that I was suppose to. In real life we made it to the appointment in more than enough time and I had all the water that was recommended. Hopefully you will be able to make out this little image of Ezra. You should be able to see the profile of him and his face at the right hand side of the photo with his little nose, lips, ear, and his hand up near his forehead. Then of course his spine and belly and one of his legs. The little loopy pale gray thing between his arm and belly is his umbilical cord! Pretty amazing! It was awesome to see all of his fingers and toes and to see his little heart with the four chambers just beating away! We had thoughts from the beginning that our Little One was going to be a boy, so we only picked out a boy name. No girl names were discussed seriously. I didn't really even think much about girl names until a few days before the ultrasound thinking...gee, we probably should have one picked out just incase. But he is all boy as we were able to see in the ultrasound. After the ultrasound I had my appointment with the doctor. He asked us if we found out the gender and then looking at the chart said 'Congratulations on that little baby girl.' He paused and then said, 'Just joking!'

Having a baby boy is just precious. Before our ultrasound, I was sure Jackson was a girl. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I love having a little boy. You will too.
Best wishes,
